Snapshots from Sintra

During our weekend in Portugal, we decided to take a day trip a little outside of Lisbon to a mystical town called Sintra.  We were told Sintra was nothing short of a fairytale. Similar to a Disneyland for adults. But I didn't need to hear any of that… Google Images had already sold me.Sintra is adorned with 8th and 9th century estates, gardens and castles. Set at the foot of the Sintra Mountains, this UNESCO World Heritage site shined like a green emerald engulfed in fog.The main sites are the Pena Palace, the Moorish Castle, Quinta de Regaleira and the Monastery. We only had time for the colorful Pena Palace and the boundless Quinta de Regaleira. But yes, if you're wondering, it was exactly like a classic fairytale, or Disneyland or some kind of land too enchanting to believe.
